Thank you tons for the excellent description of your issue as well as your system information and file. Hi am sorry you have not found a solution yet. It is not really a great option to copy/paste and re-create all my base views each time I make a change to the model. I really need this issue to be resolved as I rely pretty heavily on the base view feature. This could be the issue, but seems unlikely because of the copy/paste fix.I don't think this can be the issue because I can copy/paste the model into a new drawing and it works fine, but after I modify that new file the issue comes back. This does not seem to be the problem because other of our 3D models do not have this issue even though they are also AutoCAD 2010 files.File type issue - we save our files in AutoCAD 2010 for compatibility purposes. Also, base view does work in some instances so this is not the issue. I updated the graphics driver and nothing changed. Here are some of the potential issues I looked into during troubleshooting: See the screencast for a demonstration of the problem. The strangest part is that it does not do this for all drawings. After modifying that new file, I have the same issue again but any existing base views do update properly. But, the base view feature works fine if I copy and paste that model into a new drawing. However, sometimes AutoCAD will not create base views properly after a model has been modified. I am just getting into 3D modeling and love the base view option.

Hi, I keep having this issue with AutoCAD Mechanical 2018. Several others have the issue as well, but I am creating a new thread for this because none of the other threads have been resolved.
